Experienced Welder | First Shift | Walton, KY We are seeking a skilled and certified Welder to join our team in producing high-quality parts and weldments for custom equipment designed for the automotive industry. This role includes welding production fixtures, interpreting blueprints, and participating in cross‑training opportunities within machining and assembly. Responsibilities Weld production parts, fixtures, and custom weldments according to specifications Read and interpret shop blueprints; complete a blueprint reading test during the interview Complete a hands‑on welding test based on provided blueprints Cross‑train in machining (manual mills, drill press, etc.) and assembly as needed Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Offer ideas for improving workflow and efficiency Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and quality standards Work overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays during high‑production periods Travel as needed for certain projects Required Qualifications Certified welder Minimum 2 years of welding experience Strong MIG welding experience across various steel types and thicknesses Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints Ability to read and use metric measuring devices (tape measure/ruler) Must be at least 18 years old Must pass background check and drug test Schedule 8:00am-4:45pm Mon‑Fri Mandatory Occasional OT Pay $20-25/hr paid weekly #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Personnel
