Role Summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Accountan t specializing in supply chain and inventory accountin g to support a growing and evolving finance organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory valuation, cost accounting, and financial reporting across multiple distribution locations. The position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to optimize processes and leverage Oracle Fusion Cloud for data driven decision making

.The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience in manufacturing or distribution environments, and the ability to lead close activities with precision. This role directly contributes to improving financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and supporting ongoing transformation initiatives

es• Maintain accurate inventory valuation across multiple distribution cente

rs• Serve as a subject matter expert for inventory and cost accounting throughout monthly, quarterly, and annual clo

se• Lead month end and year end close activities including costing period close in Oracle Fusion Clo

ud• Prepare and post journal entries and ensure completeness of financial recor

ds• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including accruals, intercompany, and key inventory related accoun

ts• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to resolve discrepanci

es• Coordinate and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure proper financial alignme

nt• Support development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal contro

ls• Ensure accurate posting of costing transactions for receipts, transfers, issues, and retur

ns• Participate in cross functional projects related to ERP optimization and inventory workflo

ws• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audi

Key Requiremen

ts • Bachelor’s degree in Account

ing• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experie

nce• At least 2 years of inventory or cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or distribution environm

ent• Experience with large scale ERP syst

ems• Advanced Excel skills including xlookup, pivot tables, and power qu

ery• Strong understanding of GAAP inventory valuation methods and cost accounting princip

les• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate complex concepts clea

rly• CPA or CPA track prefer

red• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud prefer

red• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and multi entity environments prefer

red• Experience supporting UAT or ERP optimization projects prefer
