Senior Accountant

Job Description 6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a hands-on leader who thrives in a startup-style setting and enjoys building processes while supporting a collaborative team. The company offers fully paid benefits, 401(k) matching, and six weeks of PTO. Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset schedules
- Prepare financial statements, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and regulatory reports
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, support audits, and mentor accounting staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online or ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
