Performance Improvement Coordinator

Responsibilities The Performance Improvement Coordinator assists the director with the coordination, development and implementation of the quality/performance improvement program for Cedar Ridge and Bethany. Coordinates notifications to leadership, data/report receipt, and prepares for Quality/Performance Improvement meetings and other meetings. Takes meeting minutes as assigned. Provides educational support to all facility departments with regard to quality improvement, accreditation standards and other regulatory standards. Prepares and participates in routine and regulatory chart audits. Assists the director in monitoring regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis, maintaining a constant state of readiness for regulatory audits. Assists with risk management functions as needed. Key Requirements One to Two years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or healthcare administrative coordinator experience (required) Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, healthcare or other related field (required) – Relevant experience in direct healthcare performance improvement may be considered in lieu of degree Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency (required) Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred Mental health experience preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Successfully complete a drug test Successfully pass a national background check Strong communication skills Strong leadership skills Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior Location Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (UHS facility) provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17 and adults 18+. The multidisciplinary treatment teams provide structured supportive environments to stabilize patients with acute psychiatric illness.
