VANCE OUTDOORS INC.Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Sales AssociateReports To: Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager Non-ExemptSUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for assisting customers in their purchase of company products and services by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Handles all aspects of customer service (internal and external customers alike)Ability to handle customer and employee issues, along with communicating to management regarding issues that need to be addressed.Assists with inventory to and from the warehouse, and sales floor.Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the department/store.Works with customers to insure a positive shopping experience.Handles inbound callsProvides and collects required paperwork and forms following all ATF guidelines, ensuringaccuracy of data collected free of errors or missing data.Maintains required paperwork.Quotes price and describes features of product items.Emphasizes salable features, credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.Stocks products on sales floorCleans and organizes work areasEnforces safety, health, and security rules.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.All other duties as required by management.ACCOUNTABILITY:Is accountable for sales and quality control.COMPETENCIES:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:IntellectualAnalytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information;
