Commitment to start must be by 30 June in order to complete background checks required for this position. Location : This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area. There will be occasions when you are asked to perform some work onsite or to meet with other team members. Mission Your role will be enterprise cybersecurity engineering across Zero Trust, identity-centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection, secure configuration, hardening, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments. ~~~ This position is on a new Task Order with client review of contingent hires ~~~ Education : Expertise matters. There is no degree requirement. Core Responsibilities Implement security controls and Zero Trust architecture. Support vulnerability management + IR. Own monitoring and compliance posture. Required Expertise NIST SP 800-53 control implementation. Zero Trust (SP 800-207). Desired Expertise CISSP / CISM certification. Successful Applicants Your expertise and resume should reference your background with Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, IAM, RBAC, PAM, MFA, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, RCA, change management, SOP development, audit readiness, and security documentation. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Must successfully complete the required background investigation and security training.
