They should respond to inquiries or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. The Community Manager position will be responsible for maintaining the physical assets and enhancing the financial performance of the community, creating an attractive, welcoming, desirable and safe community that embraces all qualified applicants, leads a diverse staff, ensuring adequate training and professional growth opportunities for all personnel, as well as general property administration.Responsibilities:Assists Future residents with finding the perfect apartment to call homeProvide a positive and genuine experience to all current and future residentsUsing strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% Community OccupancyUse high level communication skills when dealing with current and future residentDemonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.Manage annual budgets alongside Regional Property ManagerApproves all Residential Lease Contracts and Vendor/Contractor related contractsExpert in using marketing techniques and social media to promote community and its eventsStrong ability to mediate and assess current and future resident feedbackAssists with resident retention activities through customer service focused initiatives.Scheduling and following up with progress of maintenance work orders, future move ins, capital projects and all aspects of the community.Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.RequirementsMinimum of 2-4 years experience on-site as a Community Manager/Dual-Site Community Manager within Multifamily industryPast proven experience as a leader and the ability to adapt & hit the ground running2-4 years experience as Assistant Community Manager or Business Manager is also accepted.Experience in accounting and PMS systems.Proven background within customer service in the Multifamily industry.Software Requirements: OneSite, OPS, Knock and LoftPast experience in student housing or student property management is also preferred.Proven background in financial awareness and marketing or advertising.Past ability to adapt to market needs while also building fellow employees throughCertified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.Manage annual budgets alongside Regional Property Manager.Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.Competence in Microsoft Suite and Property Management Software strongly preferred.Participate in training to comply with new or existing Fair Housing laws.Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner in the workplace.Proven results of working with cross functional teams and other Community Managers or DirectorsAbility to work weekends and evenings as neededComply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.RR Living ValuesBe Your Best.
