ANAD Shop Floor Industrial Engineer

Job Description

US Citizenship required per government contract. (Dual citizenship is not permitted). A completed US DOD clearance investigation and current, active eligibility is required to perform on this contract and therefore is required to be considered for a position.

Main Sail is seeking a Shop Floor Industrial Engineer to assist the PMO with an Adaptive Manufacturing project which will produce small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). This project will be in support of a manufacturing client in Anniston Alabama.

Responsibilities:

Assist with Project Management Office Program kickoff.
Develop Governance model, decision cadence, and reporting templates.
Assist with the development of an Integrated Master Schedule.
Develop plan/approach to optimize manufacturing processes and realize value.
Develop Risk Management plan.
Document issues, actions, decisions.
Assist with defining project deliverables and plan for acceptance steering management.
Plan and execute acceptance steering management.
Coordinate partner, supplier, and stakeholder engagement and communication.
Provide CAPEX governance and Government approval.
Define and support Change & Scope Management.
Develop a Program transition plan and assist with socialization.
Assist with interim material management workflow.
Assist with plan to deliver ERP interoperability.
Ensure there is visibility into material movement including the ability to track via workflow.
Develop a workforce transformation strategy.

Experience Required:

8+ years of product manufacturing experience, Army depot preferred.
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation experience preferred.
Manufacturing process optimization, modeling & simulation.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience - SAP preferred.
Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening

Location: Hybrid, Anniston Army Depot, Anniston AL.

Duration: July 27, 2026-July 31, 2027, (12 mos) with probable extension.
