NPIS SORTER - 1st Shift

• Monday - Friday and weekends as needed; 4:00 am - 1:00pm can very with production
• Repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching and lift up to 35lb
• Pay Range: $22.28/HR

What you will do:

• Inspect turkey carcasses as they are on the production line
• Assess each carcass for quality standards
• Identify carcasses that should be removed from the line

What to expect:

• Work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors.    
• Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.  
• Lift items up to 50 pounds.  
• Wear a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, boots and/or other personal protective equipment.  
• Work with large groups of people as a team.
• Good attendance record

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Read, write and speak English
• Strong verbal communication
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to pass certification to be a NPIS Sorter
• Able to use a knife
• Able to stand on a stand
• Able to rotate with NPIS Sorter Helper
• Detail orientated
• Excellent attendance record
• High School diploma or GED
