We are currently seeking a talented full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician II to join our dynamic and growing team. This position will aid pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care services to patients by assisting in the preparation, dispensing, record keeping, and transporting of medications for all patients including the following age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescence, adult, and geriatric. Under minimal supervision, the incumbent will perform the required duties of a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) II at a high level of proficiency, demonstrating exemplary work behaviors and ownership for the success of the work area. The Technician II is tasked with basic handling and preparation of medications for distribution, as well as medication coordination, compounding, and packaging. Compensation $25.50 - $31.00 per hour This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity. Required Qualifications Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Current certification by National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA’s) ExCPT examination One (1) year of pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting By virtue of societal trust and security explicitly imparted to pharmacies for the control of drugs, candidate/incumbent must have a clean criminal record (i.e. no felony conviction; no drug or pharmacy related convictions, including misdemeanors; no denial, suspension, revocation, or restriction of registration or licensure by any State Board of Pharmacy Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status #J-18808-Ljbffr Sheltering Arms Institute
