Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon
Location: Annapolis, MD * Full Time

We are currently looking for a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our vibrant and expanding team. This role presents a unique chance to perform both primary and revision joint replacement surgeries in a community-focused, high-volume setting, supported by a dedicated research team. You will collaborate with passionate colleagues who are committed to enhancing patients' quality of life through advanced joint care and innovative surgical methods.
Key Responsibilities:Assessing and managing hip and knee joint disorders that require both surgical and non-surgical treatments.
Conducting primary and revision total joint arthroplasty for the hip and knee, utilizing advanced technologies and ambulatory surgery center resources.
Ensuring accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, pain management, and primary care, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and ongoing education.
Providing orthopedic call coverage as required.
Engaging in teaching and research through academic affiliations (optional involvement).
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Possession of an active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Proven expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty.
Preferred proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgical techniques.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Experience in community outreach and engagement is advantageous.
