Machine Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Sugar Land, TXEmployment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and dependable professional to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to overseeing the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe, efficient operational environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, conveyor systems, and facility infrastructure.Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns swiftly to minimize production or operational downtime.Manage work orders through our digital maintenance tracking system, accurately logging parts used and time spent.Follow safety protocols strictly, including OSHA guidelines, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.Requirements2–5 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facility maintenance.Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and hand/power tools.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or kneel for extended periods.Preferred Qualifications (if any)Valid electrical certification, or proven hands-on experience troubleshooting low-to-medium voltage systems.Welding certification (AWS) or strong structural welding and metal fabrication skills.Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
