Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (state-specific or eligible for WA certification)
• Prior experience teaching Life Skills or working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to adapt to new environments and embrace new teaching approaches
• Must be able to work onsite for the entire contract

Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support elementary-aged students in a Life Skills classroom
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and school teams
• Track student progress and maintain documentation
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
