Competitive compensation: Up to $60 per visit PRN and part-time opportunities Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and availability One-on-one patient care in the home Supportive clinical leadership Independence in the field Meaningful work helping patients improve mobility and function Opportunities for additional visits as caseload needs allow What You’ll Do As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll provide therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following the established plan of care. Your responsibilities include: Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions and treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence. Help patients work toward goals established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor patient responses to treatment and report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising PT and appropriate clinical personnel. Document treatments, patient progress, and responses accurately and promptly. Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and home safety. Communicate with the supervising PT and other members of the healthcare team to support continuity of care. Follow agency policies, professional standards, and applicable documentation requirements. Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Successful completion of the required national PTA examination. Minimum of one year of home health experience required. Current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills. Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes throughout Lake Wales and surrounding areas. Commitment to compassionate, safe, and patient-centered care.
