Qualifications & Experience:

• California Occupational Therapist license (current and in good standing)
• Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for students ages 3-21
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ needs according to educational guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions within the school environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clinical insight and progress updates
• Educate and guide teachers and school staff on strategies to support students’ success throughout their school day
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
