Sr. Employee Relations Consultant

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm Pay rate: $40 -$50 per Hour Responsibilities The Employee Relations Specialist Senior leads complex employee relations investigations, ensures compliance with employment laws, and serves as a key advisor to Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), leaders, and employees. Conduct thorough Title VII and non‑Title VII investigations and address employee complaints, workplace concerns, and disputes. Advise HRBPs and managers on employee relations policies, performance concerns, corrective actions, and disciplinary decisions. Support the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Educate employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace expectations, and relevant labor laws. Mediate conflicts between employees and leadership, providing coaching and counseling as needed. Recommend strategies to strengthen workplace relationships, improve engagement, and enhance retention. Support the performance management process, including training, tracking trends, and consulting on performance improvement plans (PIPs). Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and partner with HR to develop retention strategies. Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and ensure compliance in all employee relations matters. Prepare and present reports on employee relations trends, findings, and outcomes to leadership and HRBPs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role. Experience conducting Title VII and non‑Title VII investigations preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, project management, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Sharp critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
