Leidos Defense Systems has an IMMEDIATE opening for a talented Electro-Mechanical Technician for the Product Integration Section to lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Individual must also have an interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility. This position requires good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.Must have experience in the following areas:Reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems for DoD.Have IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or prove the ability to perform cable fabrication work.Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville-North Alabama area. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
