Position Overview & Responsibilities:  

This internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources, including onboarding, training and development, recruiting, employee engagement, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, adaptable, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of assigned projects and gain practical experience managing initiatives independently while receiving guidance and support from the HR team.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, documentation, and process improvements.
• Independently manage assigned HR projects and initiatives from planning through completion, providing updates and recommendations as needed.
• Support the maintenance of employee records and reporting as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to maintain records, analyze data, prepare reports, and support HR activities.
• Assist with data entry, tracking metrics, and developing reports to support HR decision-making
  

Reports to:

• Human Resources Manager

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Must use sound judgment in the consistent implementation of policies and procedures, evaluation of potential employees, and other related areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects and priorities independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis preferred.
