Team Leader

A Team Leader owns leading shifts and teams inside the business. They are to be constantly coaching Team Members on how to complete tasks, checklists, audits and guest interactions with excellence within their shift. Team Leaders are to provide accountability through our disciplinary actions for behaviors and performance that are not up to our standards. Additionally, they are to consistently demonstrate our core values, embrace the Chick-fil-A culture and have a servant’s heart. They must have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Owns and leads the entire shift
• Plans and sets the tone for a shift and acts as a role model for our team
• Ensures their team is executing the restaurant operations with excellence
• Coach and develop Team Members
• Offer immediate and respectful response to guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires and ongoing training for established Team Members
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Cash management

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Ability to work and lead the operations of a fast-paced environment
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members and commitment to superior customer service
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required, but preferred.
• Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Have the ability to work outside for long periods of time
