Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Milton, FL at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role evaluates assigned patients, develops and implements treatment plans, documents care, provides education to patients and families, and participates in performance improvement and student supervision.


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred, including evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and functional treatment planning.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to adhere to state Practice Act, maintain professional licensure, and complete mandated continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising students and participating in clinical education.
• Previous work in a performance improvement environment and contribution to quality initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Clinic adherence to safety programs including safe patient handling, infectious disease protocols, and slip/trip/fall prevention.
