Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an inpatient rehabilitation department. The nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with rehabilitation needs such as post-stroke, surgical recovery, and spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and health questionnaires
• Perform dressing changes and ensure aseptic/sterile procedures are followed
• Conduct laboratory specimen collection, including phlebotomy and clean catch urine samples
• Provide telephone triage and manage pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care rehabilitation
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
• Pass/fail EKG exam required prior to compliance
• Must hold an active RN license at the time of submission
