Unit Manager - Great Pay
Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Unit Manager to join our team at Laurel Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall nursing care and services on your assigned shift, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our Residents. About the Role:
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing quality nursing care to Residents in a safe and clean environment
Supervising and guiding Certified Nurse Aides and other personnel on your shift
Ensuring accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments
Documenting care provided and maintaining strict confidentiality
Assisting with new admissions, readmissions, and transfers of Residents
Communicating effectively with Residents, families, and colleagues
Participating in departmental meetings and in-services
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Current State License as a Registered Nurse (RN)
CPR Certified
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience as a nurse in a long-term care setting
