Registered Nurse (Pediatric Operating Room)

Shift Times: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
BLOCK: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
50 Mile Radius Rule: Applies
Responsibilities
Perform duties in the pediatric operating room.
Participate in on-call responsibilities (4-5 call shifts per 8-week schedule period).
Adhere to departmental needs for weekend work.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Licensure/Certification:
- Active RN license (State or Compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
Previous operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
Pediatric experience required
Must have strong ortho, spine & neuro experience
Ability to scrub is preferred
Preferred Skills
Willingness to float to off shifts as needed
Flexible with rotating shifts
Additional Information
No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
Work schedule and assigned hours are based on departmental needs and may change
Off-shifts and weekend work may be required
Required response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes
