Overview Registered Nurse - Interventional Therapy in a hospital setting, located in Columbia, Missouri. The role involves interventional radiology and CT procedures, requiring skilled bedside care, procedural support, and collaboration with radiologists and the care team. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,115 - $3,300 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating with on-call requirements Start date: 09/21/2026 Setting: Hospital-based interventional radiology and CT procedures Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for interventional radiology and CT patients, including general head-to-toe assessments and monitoring for complications. Support procedural sedation under established safety protocols and communicate with patients, families, radiologists, and team members about procedures and needs. Manage invasive lines and vascular access, including IV insertion and PICC/Central line care, ensuring device patency and patient safety. Assist with a range of procedures (e.g., port placements/removals, CT-guided biopsies, drain placements, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, neurovascular interventions for stroke) and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Maintain equipment readiness and patient safety, including telemetry monitoring, vital signs, ISTAT/ACT capabilities, and radiation safety practices. Adapt quickly to changing environments, communicate effectively across departments, and participate in on-call rotations as required. Requirements Neuro experience with at least 2 years of hands-on practice is preferred. Line management skills: IV insertion, PICC/central line management, vascular device access and care (required). Cardiac skills: Telemetry interpretation and the ability to perform cardioversion/defibrillation (required). Airway skills: Procedural sedation capability (required). OR/OBGYN circulation skills (circulate) (required). Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology and CT environment with rotating days and on-call responsibilities.
