Director of Finance

Saint Bridget's Catholic School is seeking a Director of Finance.

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the school, including but not limited to preparing, reviewing, and maintaining the fiscal year budget, facilitating monthly Finance Committee meetings, maintaining all financial records and documentation, payroll processing, managing accounts payable and receivable processes, student billing, and financial aid management. Additional responsibilities include serving as a liaison between employees and the diocesan HR department, and working with staff and the principal to manage FMLA, short-term disability, and any other related staff absences.

Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or another related field. Experience in business is highly preferred. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education. This role requires superior communication skills (both written and spoken), strong interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and flexibility. The role also requires a hardworking, collaborative team player.


This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month position.
