Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care in a professional and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist with infection-control and safety procedures
- Schedule appointments and assist with front-office duties when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Dental Assistant certification or required state credentials preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude
