Dental Assistant PositionFarber Perio is seeking an experienced dental assistant for a periodontal surgical office to join our team. As a dental assistant, you will work closely with specialists and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with surgical procedures, taking dental x-rays, intra-oral scans and 3D and oral scans, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dental care.What we offer:Competitive hourly pay $30Min-$32MaxPart time: Tuesday, Friday and SaturdaySupport for continuing education and professional developmentModern office with advanced dental technologyResponsibilities:Assist the dentist during implant, laser and other periodontal proceduresTake and develop dental x-ray, scans and intra oral scansOrder responsibility for implant and other surgical materialPrepare treatment rooms for patient visitsSterilize and maintain dental instrumentsProvide chairside assistance to the dentist and dental hygienistsEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsMaintain accurate and detailed patient recordsQualifications:Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program - Preferred3 year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)X-Ray certificationNitrous Oxide certification is highly recommendedHigh school diploma or equivalentDental assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.Legal disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
