Production Worker - Pressing Dept Urgently hiring in Salem! Job Title: Production Worker - Pressing Department Pay: $19.50/hour Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10:30pm-7am Start Date: ASAP Looking for a rewarding career with growth opportunities? As a Production Worker - Pressing Dept, you'll play a vital role in supporting the daily production process. You'll work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and maintaining quality standards, supporting the company's commitment to excellence each day. What You'll Do As a Production Worker in the pressing department, you will be responsible for:

• Extracting soy compounds from industrial mixers and sifting the mixture through filtering cloths.
• Operating industrial pressing machines to extract soy from the filtered mixture.
• Receiving raw materials and ensuring proper batch processing.
• Administering initial Koji preparation for fermentation.
• Tracking raw material usage and maintaining accuracy in lot tracking of intermediate and final products.
• Sampling work-in-progress items for quality control purposes.
• Moving press cages between press areas during operation to ensure continuous workflow.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Cannot be allergic to wheat, soy or salt-skin may come into contact with these ingredients.
• Willingness to work at heights above 10 feet within an enclosed workspace.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• No formal certifications are required, but hands-on experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
