Full-Time School-Based Therapist (Arlington Area)

Step-By-Step Behavioral Health Services is a welcoming, mission-driven behavioral health agency seeking compassionate and dedicated therapists to provide counseling services in schools throughout the Arlington area.

Monday-Friday schedule (no evenings or weekends)

What You'll Do

As a School-Based Therapist, you'll provide individual, family, and group counseling services to students ages 5–19 experiencing challenges such as:

• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma
• Behavioral concerns
• Grief and loss
• Family conflict
• Self-esteem
• School adjustment
• Emotional regulation

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, and community providers
• Maintain clinical documentation
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field
• Eligible to register as a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern within six (3) months of hire
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
