Express Employment Professionals is seeking motivated Assembly Technicians for one of our valued clients. This hands-on role involves assembling, installing, and testing natural gas and LP generators for domestic and international applications. No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for individuals looking to build mechanical and electrical skills.
What You'll Do
- Assemble generator components including engines, alternators, enclosures, and control units
- Install cooling systems, fuel systems, gas lines, and electrical components
- Perform wiring, fabrication, and assembly of generator equipment
- Read basic wiring schematics and engineering drawings
- Install batteries, breakers, bus bars, and electrical harnesses
- Assist with testing and troubleshooting equipment
- Operate tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean work area
- Perform additional manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical or electrical experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and follow instructions and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to obtain crane and forklift certifications during the probationary period
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and WorkSTEPS physical
- No previous experience required
