Three maverick farmers started it all — and we’ve been making our own way ever since.In this role, the Plant Training Specialist will be responsible for administering comprehensive training systems for plant team members inclusive of technical training, required compliance training, new hire onboarding, and more. You will develop training materials, document team member completion, and evaluate program effectiveness. Additionally, you will lead the Train the Trainer program, lead training efforts, maintain a training calendar, administer the MPOWER LMS, and partner with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive training experiences for all plant team members.A Day in the Life...Act as primary owner of plant learning management and content management systems (Mpower, etc.), inclusive of program governance like: managing users, reporting participation rates, developing content, managing and assigning relevant content, reporting and troubleshootingIdentify and develop hourly trainers through ongoing facilitation of train‑the‑trainer sessions; ensure trainers are fully equipped to deliver high‑quality instruction, maintain training standards, and continuously evaluate and elevate trainer effectivenessAdminister the onboarding program, including assigning trainers, and ensuring compliance with program requirementsCreate content, develop courses within MpowerConduct onboarding and other training as neededWork independently within established procedures; facilitate open communication with cross-functional stakeholdersCoordinate training schedules, inclusive of in-plant and external training programs, to minimize production disruptionsAssess external vendors for training effectiveness; research and recommend training partnersCollaborate with Training peers across the plant networks to align content, delivery, and applicationAnalyzes training effectiveness and implements corrective action plans with measurable outcomesAct as site champion for all training initiativesWhat We Are Looking For:Manufacturing experiencePrevious curriculum development experienceStrong facilitations and technical training skillsLearning Management System (LMS) administrationSolid IT/computer application skills, including full proficiency with Office SuiteStrong relationship building, motivation, and negotiation skillsAnalytical, troubleshootingKnowledge of OSHA standards, quality assurance requirements, and industry-specific regulations.Understanding of training documentation standards and audit requirements.Awareness of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for process optimization.RequiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in human resources, technical training roles, learning and development, or a related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience collaborating with cross-functional partnersStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPreferredExperience in using or administering learning management systems (i.e., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, TalentLMS)Experience with authoring tools (i.e., Camtasia, Articulate, Canva)Training facilitation or teaching experienceComfort with virtual instructor-led delivery platforms (i.e., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)Experience working in an organization with competency-based developmentPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift low to medium weight (10-30 lbs) materials on an occasional basis.Requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Must be able to climb ladders and traverse catwalks.Education:Bachelor of Science (Preferred)Work Experience:At least 3 Years of ExperienceAnnual Salary:$72,200 - $99,330The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position’s typical hiring range.
