Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Previous emergency nursing experience in a large emergency department Description: The purpose of this position is to provide care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The emergency department has a total of 65 beds. Patient ratios are as follows: 2:1 for shock patients, 4:1 for core patients, 3:1 for psychiatric patients, and 6:1 for exam patients. Relevant equipment includes Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and Rover EMR. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills. Ability to adjust to fluctuating patient volumes in a fast-paced environment is essential. Float requirements will be based on skill set. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs. Any unacceptable attire will be specified upon hiring. Candidates may be required to complete education modules prior to starting.
