CNC Lathe Programmer / Machinist

About the Role

Snider Precision is a family-owned, AS9100-certified machine shop specializing in high-precision aerospace and advanced manufacturing components. We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and run CNC turning centers in a build-to-print environment.

We are open to:

Strong setup machinists with some programming experience
Senior machinists/programmers who can independently run complex parts

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC lathes (Doosan / FANUC controls)
Program parts using CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar)
Read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks
Machine precision parts using aerospace materials (aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel)
Optimize programs and setups for efficiency, quality, and cycle time

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience
Experience with CAD/CAM programming
Familiarity with FANUC controls
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Experience in precision machining (aerospace preferred)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
