Currently we have an opening for a qualified Machinist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience on the fabrication of metal components on Conventional Machines.  This job opportunity is for a self-motivated candidate with the appropriate experience in the metal industry.  Our company is a Machine Automation Company.  The ideal candidate will be the person that can operate Engine Lathes, Milling Machines, Surface Grinders, and Honing Machines for the manufacturing of automation components.

Salary Range :  $25.00 to $32.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications:

·      English (required)

·      US work authorization (required)

·      Requires a broad knowledge of machining practices with ability to read, understand, and work from

manufacturing and verbal instructions

·      Machining various tool steels and aluminum parts on manual lathes and mills while holding tight tolerances

·      Low production environment with strong attention to details

Education and/or Experience:

·      High School Diploma or equivalent

The following requirements are a MUST: 

·      Be punctual; on time every day and ready to work

·      Be at least 18 years of age

·      Understand and speak English

·      Have good eye-hand coordination and ability to multi-task

·      Have stable work history

·      Be able and willing to work overtime as required with short notice

·      Be flexible to perform other work assignments as required

·      Pass pre-employment drug screen

·      Be comfortable standing for 8 hours a day

* Be able to safety lift between 25-35 lbs throughout your shift
