Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct various nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake, lung scans, and MPI stress tests.
  
  
• 
  Operate imaging equipment such as NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified cameras and ensure image quality.
  
  
• 
  Follow safety protocols, including managing radiation badges and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical staff to assess patient needs and explain procedures clearly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within electronic health systems, such as Epic.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to scheduling requirements, including rotating shifts, call duties, and potential for float between service lines and facilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a BLS certification and valid South Carolina NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in bone scans, thyroid, renal, lung, and infection imaging procedures.
  
  
• 
  Must have a valid SC license or be in the process of obtaining it.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including call rotations, with flexibility for emergency assignments.
  
  
• 
  Willing to comply with facility and agency requirements, including lab completions within specified timeframes.
