We are currently seeking a dedicated RN to join our team at Physician’s Surgical Center. Our facility is a fast-paced Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) outpatient surgical center with a high volume of pediatric patients, making us a dynamic and rewarding place to work. Our surgery center has 2 fully equipped operating rooms with state-of-the-art technology and 6 admission/dismissal rooms. We may be a small team, but we are mighty in our commitment to providing the best care. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in need. Responsibilities Cover all areas of the center, including admissions, dismissals, operating room circulating, and recovery area (PACU). Receive training and participate in the admission process and patient care coordinator area. Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administer medications/treatments, and assisting with procedures. Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records. Provide critical care support to patients in emergency situations. Educate patients on pre and post operative procedures, treatments, and self-care techniques. Adhere to infection control and other healthcare regulations and protocols. Performs other related duties. Qualifications Current and valid RN license BLS is required ACLS/PALS recommended but not required (will be required after employment) OR experience recommended but not required A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis and emergency situations Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
