Night Shift - Medical UnitSchedule: Night shift - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Must be flexible with various shift lengths and days.Assignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: Not guaranteedRequirements:Hawaii License required by the start of assignmentBLS certificationACLS certification2-10 years of experienceExperience with Meditech EMRFamiliarity with Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubesRoles & Responsibilities:Provide high-quality patient care in a medical unit setting.Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.Educate patients and their families on health management and treatments.Participate in unit-based activities to improve patient care.Compliance / Notes:Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start date.Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for the employee health appointment.Dress Code: Professional nursing attire.Orientation time provided for each unit.Client Details:City: HiloState: HITLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
