Phlebotomist Floater

Phlebotomist Float – Vestavia, AL Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. This role allows you to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, support various specimen collection needs, and provide excellent patient service. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, varying between 6:00am–6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2years or more of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 3years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. At least 21years old. Additional Job Standards Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or qualify for a medical or religious accommodation. Incentives & Pay Float incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
