Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The selected candidate will start their contract in Florence, SC, at a Free-Standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care facility.

Position Details
  • Shift: 3x12 Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), varying from Sunday to Saturday according to facility needs.
  • Weekend Requirements: Yes
  • Floating: No floating within scope to meet facility needs.
Qualifications
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
  • Travel Experience: First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have emergency room experience.
  • License Requirements: Must possess a South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Preferred Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
  • Special Requirements: Epic experience is required.
Miscellaneous Information
  • Block Schedule: Accommodations for a block schedule may be requested but are not guaranteed.
  • Local Radius: 60 miles; no locals accepted.
  • Requests for Time Off: All requests must be included at the time of submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
  • Guaranteed Hours: The facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Additional Notes

Please be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should avoid confirming new assignments during this season, which runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
