JOB SUMMARYThe Director, Global Consulting, is a leader within the Global Consulting organization, providing strategic program management services to initiative and program leaders, as well as senior-level consultants across enterprise projects, platforms, and initiatives. EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQDBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related majorFour plus year experience in project or program management roles.Experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business unitsEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE-PREFMBA or equivalentExperience in the lodging / hospitality sectorCommercial service experience QUALIFICATIONS:Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions.Extensive experience in managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.Proven track record of success in challenging projects and initiatives.Expertise in facilitating cross-discipline forums and processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Program Leadership: Oversee and direct multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with Marriott’s Strategy Map and organizational goals.Performance Monitoring: Supervise and evaluate project progress, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time.Advanced Risk Management: Identify and mitigate complex risks, developing comprehensive strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and facilitate complex stakeholder interactions, including cross-discipline forums and processes, to gain buy-in from senior leaders on critical business decisions.Flexible Resource Deployment: As part of a flexible pool of resources, rotate to various priority projects as needed, adapting quickly to new challenges and environments.At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
