Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity

A stellar opportunity for a strong public or private accountant just opened up in Syracuse! The opportunity to work with top private equity funds and partner closely with CFOs, IR and Investment Professionals is available.

This will focus primarily on thefund accounting for PE funds, and have the opportunity for high visibility with CFOs, IR teams and LPs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career fund accountant looking to work at a world-class organization with incredible growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Create the financial and management reports
\n
• Manage fee calculations and weekly/monthly /quarterlyreporting
\n
• Handle management fee, waterfalls, and carried interest calculations
\n
• Work closely with investor relations teams to handle reporting for various LP requests
\n
• Collaborate with tax team on year end tax-return information and tax projections throughout the year
\n
• Review and manage expense budgets and projects related to expense projections and deal allocations
\n
• Assist with mentorship of junior employees
\n
• Collaborate with external audit and tax teams
\n
• Ad hoc projects
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, or public/private mix
\n
• Bachelors degree in accounting and/or finance
\n
• Strong Excel skills
\n
• CPA preferred
