Structural Steel Project Manager

A growing and well-established structural steel fabricator and erector is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional construction projects from award through closeout. Primary Responsibilities Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion Coordinate detailing, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and field erection activities Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Review contracts, specifications, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Monitor project costs, labor productivity, and material procurement Coordinate with shop management and field superintendents to ensure project success Negotiate and manage change orders and project scope modifications Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and clients Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Qualifications Experience as a Structural Steel Project Manager or recent gradudate with a construction management degree Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or large-scale construction projects Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of AISC standards and industry best practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $80,000 - $135,000 DOE Performance-based bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Stable workload with a growing and reputable steel contractor Early Career Candidates Encouraged To Apply Recent graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply Candidates with internship, co-op, field engineer, project engineer, estimating, or detailing experience within the structural steel industry are strongly preferred Training and mentorship opportunities are available for motivated individuals seeking to develop into a Project Manager role All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
