Role Description The Accounts Receivable Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Providence RI, responsible for overseeing the company’s invoicing, collections, and customer credit processes. This role manages the accounts receivable team’s daily activities, including timely invoice generation, payment posting, reconciliations, and resolution of billing discrepancies. The Accounts Receivable Manager monitors aging reports, follows up on past-due accounts, and collaborates with sales and operations to address customer issues and ensure accurate billing. This position also sets and reviews credit limits, evaluates customer credit risk, and implements procedures to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt. The role involves preparing regular AR and cash flow reports, supporting month-end close, and contributing to continuous process improvements within the finance function. Qualifications Strong Finance and Accounting skills, with experience managing accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in Invoicing and Credit Management, including setting credit terms and handling collections. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret AR metrics, aging reports, and cash flow trends. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel). Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in accounts receivable or related finance functions is preferred.
