Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. – Plant Manager – Mabscott, WV, United States | req28595 Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is consistently met. Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling. Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations, ensuring employees are trained and committed to Linde Safety and Quality systems, working closely with the Compliance Manager to coordinate training. Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency, anticipate problems, and develop contingencies. Identify operational challenges and lead improvement efforts related to production processes, shift scheduling, and training; report progress and findings to plant management. Manage and escalate equipment and product quality issues, maintain adequate inventory of production supplies, support 5S and Lean Projects and hazardous waste activities, continuously identify ways to reduce plant operating costs through Operational Excellence strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial plant environment. More than 5 years of experience in driver, operations, distribution or quality roles. At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees. Willingness to work in a unionized environment required.
