Rehab Occupational Therapy OT Overview Therapy Services treat patients with cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, medicine, trauma, surgical, oncology populations. Schedule & Work Hours Employee works Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (start time flexible up to 0800). One weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every four weeks, with a day off during the applicable week. Eligibility & Experience BLS certification required. State licensure required, pending state license accepted. Minimum 1 year of experience required. First‑time applicants accepted. Additional Employment Requirements Must be willing to work at least one weekend per four‑week period. No on‑call requirement. Available to float within scope to meet facility needs. May work at sister facilities? No. Locals accepted: No, local radius rule 75 miles. No RTO restrictions; max 7 days within 13‑week contract. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be regular shift length. Responsibilities Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs, expected functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies. Educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other health care providers; make recommendations for referrals to specialists. Delegate to assistants and technicians, determining skill level or competency required to deliver interventions. Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
