Per Diem Program Physician – Fort Worth, TX Schedule: 5:00 am to 11:00 am for 3-4 days per week (Monday through Friday). Description Position at MedMark Treatment Centers. MedMark Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services. They offer medically-supervised services for adults in a variety of modalities and settings, addressing the opioid crisis. We are looking for a full‑time physician dedicated to helping patients on their road to recovery. Primary Job Function Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment. Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, addiction meetings, and personal absences. Obtain history and physical exam. Document into EMR and enter orders for methadone dosing or write buprenorphine prescription. Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, counselors and dosing nurses. Consult on high‑risk patients and conduct annual medication reviews. Supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Other related duties as determined by supervisor. Qualifications | Education | Certifications Board Certified in Addiction Medicine preferred. Must be licensed in the state of Texas. Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population. 1 year of addiction medicine and primary care experience required. Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
