Data Analytics Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Management Analyst 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Data Management Analyst 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Analytics supporting risk management and business analysis functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Management Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Perform analytics related to wires risk controls and financial crimes regulation compliance

• Liaise with platform support teams representing payment initiation channels

• Develop control reporting for risk, control, and audit teams

• Develop a deep understanding of wires data, initiation channels, and related business processes

• Lead discussions with product SMEs and business owners to resolve findings and improve processes

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both

• 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL code (Microsoft SQL Server or Hive)

• Experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed-width data files

• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, transformations, and reports for business stakeholders
