Oncology Outpatient Infusion RN

Possible shifts: 7:45–16:15, 8:00–16:30, 8:30–17:00, 9:00–17:30, 9:30–18:00 Weekends: Not required Call: Not required

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week

Minimum 1 year of experience required Prior oncology/infusion outpatient experience required Required certifications: BLS, Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS chemo certification) Charting system: Epic required Key clinical skills: Administration & monitoring of chemotherapy (IV/continuous/oral) Infusion pump experience (Alaris, CADD) Port/central line care and blood product administration Recognition/management of oncology emergencies (anaphylaxis, extravasation, tumor lysis, neutropenic sepsis) Symptom management (nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, etc.)

Administer chemotherapy and manage infusions in an outpatient setting. Monitor patients during infusion treatments and implement appropriate interventions as needed. Provide care and management of central lines and ports. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management. Recognize and respond to oncology emergencies effectively.

2 references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years required. Pre-start modules average ~16 hours (over 20 hrs requires approval); must be completed and documented before starting. Travelers expected to float across facilities within the state; refusal may result in termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Include all requested time off at the time of submittal.
