Shift: 24-hour in-house coverage, with shared rounding and emergency response

Hours per Week: Flexible, based on clinical schedule

$190/hour for additional clinical hours

What You'll Do

Provide 24-hour OB hospitalist coverage within a high-acuity, Maternal-Fetal Medicine-led environment

Manage OB triage and handle private physician requests

Respond to and manage MFM patient transports (approximately 5-6 per month)

Assist in cesarean sections (average 0-3 cases, assist in 1-2 cases)

Conduct inpatient postpartum rounding and shared antepartum care with MFM specialists

Evaluate gynecologic emergencies in the emergency department

Coordinate care with advanced neonatal, anesthesia, NICU, and pediatric teams

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier obstetric care

What You Need

Required:

California medical license with OB-GYN certification (Board Certified or Eligible)

Residency completion in OB-GYN

Ability to work flexible, often 24-hour shifts

Preferred:

Experience in high-acuity obstetric settings or maternal-fetal medicine

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Adaptability to fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
