Overview Physical Therapist – General in King City, California. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 08/24/2026 in a short-term acute care hospital setting. You’ll earn $2,737 to $2,870 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is rotating and includes weekends. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,737–$2,870 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating schedule, includes weekends Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Short-term acute care hospital environment; general PT with in/outpatient mix Responsibilities Perform PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings (approx. 50/50 workload) Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, endurance, and functional independence Reassess patient progress, adjust plans of care, and document outcomes in the medical record per policy Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and discharge plans; collaborate with the care team to coordinate referrals and post-discharge care Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, transfers, and use of mobility equipment; maintain infection control and standard precautions Communicate findings and progress with multidisciplinary teams to support effective discharge planning Requirements California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in California Experience in both inpatient and outpatient PT settings (approximately 50/50 workload) Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and 24/7 travel support Credentialing coordination with batch submission when required Scheduling and onboarding assistance to facilitate a smooth start Competitive weekly pay with direct billing as applicable to the assignment Ongoing assignment support throughout the contract term Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
